大马羽球一哥李梓嘉早前遭到大马羽总处以禁赛惩罚时，安赛龙曾不断为李梓嘉发声，还亲自邀请李梓嘉加入其陪练团，与他一同前往迪拜训练。

虽然李梓嘉禁赛风波最终圆满落幕，但李梓嘉表示想组建自己的球队，并将总部设在大马，且承诺将代表国家参加诸如汤杯、2022年亚运会和 2024年巴黎奥运会。
